1. Christ Alone!: a three to seven message series exhorting believers to live for Christ Alone!
Our common culture is dismissive of Christ, often to the point of being anti-Christ. But even in our church culture we are too often and easily led astray by the pursuit of seemingly good goals which lead to a focus on other than Christ Alone!
2. Gold Under Fire: Based on the book Gold Under Fire, this three to five session series addresses
1) Why Christians suffer
2) The biblical response to adversity
3) Practical questions related to trials and suffering
3. Growing In The Knowledge of Jesus: We know how we come to Christ, but what has God said about how we grow in Christ? This is a three to nine session series (five is probably the optimal number of sessions) which both demonstrates and applies the biblical direction in this significantly relevant and seriously misunderstood topic.
4. Understanding The Scriptures: As small children we were dependent on someone else to feed us. As we grow we delight in feeding ourselves! It should be no different with spiritually feeding on God’s Word. But knowing how to use the utensils is essential. This series of presentations includes workshops which help the students put into practice the biblical teaching and skills that are being learned. This series takes a minimum of five sessions and could easily be expanded to more.
5. The NT Role of the Holy Spirit: This is a three to five session series that seeks to bring both balance and light to the essential role of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer.
6. Our Faithful High Priest: A study of selected passages from the Book of Hebrews which highlight the truth, importance and application of the faithful ministry of our high priest – Jesus Christ. This series includes three to five messages.
7. Kingdom Messages: This series of three to seven sessions is based on the teaching of Christ as found in the Gospel of Matthew on the topic of His kingdom. Far from being something we only look forward to in the millennial reign of Christ, these teachings by Jesus show us how He desires for us to live now as representatives of the Kingdom of Light.
8. Marriage By The Book: God’s Word gives clear direction and insight for how your marriage can be honoring to Him, a blessing to you and your spouse and a testimony to others. For this three to five session series, I prefer to co-teach with Sherrie who will do several sessions with the ladies. We have found this arrangement to be very helpful as well as fun!
