About Us
Gary Crandall is currently the senior pastor at Martensdale Community Church, just south of Des Moines, Iowa.  He has earned degrees from the University of Maryland, Grace Theological Seminary (M.Div) and Dallas Theological Seminary (STM in Biblical Exposition).
In addition to ministering as a pastor’s wife, Sherrie is the creator of the “Prism of the Heart” women’s ministry and has written and taught Bible studies for womens ministries. Her studies are from Moody Bible College, Bluffton College, and both Grace and Dallas Theological Seminaries.
Gary and Sherrie have been married for 36 years. God has blessed them with three grown children and 5 grandchildren. They have enjoyed serving together in ministry for 25 years, including ministry in Germany, France, Central African Republic and Costa Rica, as well as the United States. Both Gary and Sherrie have taught in settings ranging from National Conferences to isolated retreats and are glad for opportunities to share God’s Word wherever He desires to use them.

Doctrinal Statement:
1. We believe that there is One God, eternally existing in Three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
2. We believe that God is the Creator and Sustainer of all. He is sovereign over all things and continuously reigns as Lord of all.
3. We believe that Jesus Christ, as the Son of God and the Son of Man, died on the cross making a perfect, eternal and complete payment for all those who will come to saving faith in Him. He then bodily rose from the dead and has ascended to the Father’s right hand, securing victory over death. We expectantly wait for the coming of Christ to rapture His Bride before the Tribulation.
4. We believe that salvation is through personal faith in the saving work of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is apart from any works or merit on our own and is initiated solely by the grace of God.
5. We believe that the Bible as originally given by God is the inerrant and authoritative Word of God. As such it is not only true but Truth and more than sufficient for all of life.
6. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer from the moment of salvation and leads us to glorify Christ. This is done in part as we exercise the gifts of the Spirit in love and as we walk in the Spirit in life.
7. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will come in power, majesty, and glory to close the tribulation period and establish His millennial reign.
